
Grant County Dollar for Scholars meeting will be held on MONDAY, May 12th at 6 p.m. @ Grant County High School for Senior Scholarship selection. The regular meeting will be held afterwards at approximately 6:30. (Reminder if you have a senior applying you will not be able to be part of the selection process, however, we would really like to see you at the regular scheduled meeting).

You are cordially invited to attend the GCHS 2025 Prom Grand March on Saturday, May 3rd, starting at 7:30 p.m. at the RG Beede Auditorium. The doors will open to the public at 7:00 p.m. There will also be a special parent/child dance that will take place shortly after the grand march. Individual, couple, and group photos will take place immediately after the parent/child dance. We kindly ask that all spectators leave after the parent/child dance. 📚The Book Blast books 📚 came this week!Thanks to all the friends and family who helped support our students. All students in grades Pre-K through 6th grade received one book or more. Pre-K and fourth grade earned a 💵$100 shopping spree for their classroom by having sixty percent classroom participation!










Congratulations to Elgin/New-Leipzig teacher Mrs. Kay Rivinius on being selected as the 2025 Grant County Teacher of the Year. Mrs. Rivinius teaches 7-10 English and is the National Honor Society Advisor. We are all so very proud of you!!


📣📣ENL students in grades 4-8 traveled to Fairfield yesterday to compete in the annual math meet. The students represented us well and all did awesome. The 5th grade team wound up taking home a 5th place award. ☺️

✈️ The GCHS English III students are putting model airplanes from WW II together. The planes are mentioned in the book Unbroken which they are currently reading in S.Klein’s English class. ✈️

Congratulations to our 2025 Grant County JH/HS FBLA students. They attended the state conference the past few days in Bismarck. Mykenzie Winkler and D'Lainee Block both qualified for nationals to be held this summer in Anaheim, CA. Their advisor is Mr. Mike Mayer.
