
On Friday, March 28th, our K-6 students will have the opportunity to dress up as their favorite book character as a part of Reading Month. From 2:30-3:00, there will be a book character parade where students will show off their costumes. There will be a prize for the best-dressed boy and best-dressed girl. Today we celebrated some of our students as they were inducted into the Grant County High School National Honor Society Chapter. Congratulations to the following students: seniors Brooke Banyai and Claire Schatz, junior Caitlin Martinez, and sophomores Ryenn Mead and Autumn Oler on being inducted into NHS.



Today our Juniors and Seniors were able to travel to Bismarck to tour the Capitol and observe legislative session as a part of their respective social studies classes. The students were even able to snag a picture with Governor Armstrong.

UPDATE: The Pep Rally will start at 2:15 p.m TOMORROW instead of 2:30 p.m. This adjustment is to accommodate the Mott students so they can return to Mott in time to ride buses home.
Join us for a Pep Rally as we send off the GCMR Jaguars to STATE on Wednesday, March 5, at 2:15 p.m. in the Elgin/New Leipzig Public School Gymnasium. This Pep Rally is for both Elgin and Mott Communities to attend, so please join us as we cheer on our Jags! After the Pep Rally, there will be an official escort out of town for our Jaguars provided by the Grant County Sheriff's Department and the Elgin & New Leipzig Fire Departments.


Make-Up Day Announcement:


Congratulations to the Coyote Speech Team members Gideon Sprenger and Autumn Oler! Gideon placed 3rd in Storytelling and Autumn placed 7th in EPR at the Shiloh meet. Way to go!


GCMR will play Kenmare/Bowbells in the opening game of the State Tournament at 12:00MT at the Jamestown Civic Center. The Jaguars are the #7 seed in the tournament.


Congratulations to the GCMR "Jaguars!!" 2024-2025 Region 4 Champions!! Congratulations also to Samantha Greff and Jada Ottmar for being selected to the All Region 4 team.


We will be having a send-off for the GCMR Girls' Basketball team tomorrow at 2 pm at the Elgin/New Leipzig High School. The Lady Jaguars will play in the Region 4 Championship game against Central McLean for a chance to go to the State Tournament! (The bus will leave shortly after the send-off). Come support our Lady Jaguars!
