Wednesday, Feb 5th, at Roosevelt Elementary in Carson, ND, the Grant County Spelling Bee took place.
The top two contestants were from the Elgin/New Leipzig School district.
Sam Pasag took 1st place, and Esther Sprenger took 2nd place.
Both students will advance to the State competition at the Bismarck Event Center on March 17th, 2025.
Attached is the bracket for the 2025 Grant County JV GBB Invitational Tournament to be held in Elgin, February 6-8. Good luck to all participating teams. All times for the tournament are mountain time.

Claire Schatz, a senior at Grant County/Elgin-New Leipzig Public School, is November's female Student of the Month for the CRACTC. Claire has been very efficient and completes work in a timely manner. She is always thorough with her work.
